Bio

At her core, Dr.Yao Zeng is an artist. Starting out as a painter first, Dr.Zeng fell in love with the creative process. She then went on to study fashion design in college and got her Fashion history Ph.D. degree from Louisiana State University in 2011.

Dr. Zeng really only began taking pictures for her beloved daughters first. From the moment her first child opened her eyes, she was convinced how important it is to capture the fleeting precious moments that are gone in the blink of an eye. Her camera became attached to her hip and she had the joy of capturing every smile, every word and every step her daughters have taken in the last 11 years.

But before she knew it, she realized that photography was her true passion since 2010. So after she graduated, Dr. Zeng made the decision to focus entirely on her passion of being an photographer. As a perfectionist and a highly competitive person. She will never stop learning and growing as an artist and person.



Dr.Yao Zeng and her husband live in Baton Rouge, LA with their two daughters. The love that she shares in her personal life with her family and friends is the largest influence in her work. Photography lets her experience life as a story teller, an artist, and a dreamer. Specializing in nature light, Dr.Zeng provides emotion provoking images.

She loves knowing that the work she does today will be a part of someone else's family history as the years pass by. Her passion is to capture every monument of your life as beautiful as they were meant to be. She is now living her dream!!!!
